Does Donald Stand Behind The Trump Network?
Everybody, and I do mean everybody, knows the name of Donald Trump. He’s done a lot of amazing things in real estate, and is well-known for his public recovery when he was near bankruptcy. His television program, The Apprentice, keeps him in the public eye – and has made “You’re Fired” a national catchphrase.
And now he’s come out with The Trump Network… a multilevel marketing opportunity for you to market health and wellness products for the usual commissions and downline.
The question on my mind, when I first saw this, was whether Donald has finally just plain lost it. Is this some sort of joke? “The Trump Network MLM Business” just sounds… wrong.
I mean, really, MLM? Donald Trump, the very embodiment of big business, lending his name to a system like this? The entire MLM business is built around a grassroots effort, a small business opportunity, not something you’d expect Donald Trump to get behind.
You can do big business with MLM, of course. I’m one of the first people to admit that – with thousands of people in my own multilevel downlines, and a multi-million dollar company built on them, I can see exactly why the Trump Network exists.
You can find the occasional Trump Network review as you look around the web, but all of it seems to be the same sort of thing I already said; people are just incredulous that Donald Trump’s Trump Network exists at all. Trump Network distributors are out there already, of course, promoting and pushing the Trump Network business opportunity.
Never Trust A Dog That Doesn’t Bark
I don’t know about you, but I get a little fidgety when new companies pop up – even from a group as savvy and smart as the Trump Network team – and nobody’s really examining what they have and what they offer. That’s the way a “Trump Network scam” would operate; promoting the style and the brand, then skating off with the money while Donald himself just held up his hands and said he had no direct involvement.
They have a nice slick website at www.TheTrumpNetwork.com, of course. I’d expect nothing less from “the Donald,” and neither should you.
But what I found when I started really paying attention was truly different. The Trump Network business opportunity actually does have something revolutionary in it, which changed my entire view of the Trump Network.
The Real Trump Network Business Opportunity
What the Trump Network MLM business has that I have never seen before, anywhere, is a home testing kit that tells you EXACTLY what vitamins you really need. It’s not a matter of guesswork anymore.
There are all kinds of ways we use to determine what vitamins and minerals our body needs, from cravings for specific food (”I want spinach; I must be deficient in iron”), to environmental factors (”I feel tired; I must need magnesium and zinc”), to just plain folk wisdom (”I’m over forty; I must need more calcium”). But these ways are error-prone, and they just plain never work all that well.
So Donald Trump’s Trump Network has taken that out of the equation. Instead of trying to figure out what your body needs by learning some arcane system of symptoms and diagnosis – normally, people have to attend medical school to learn that very well – you can rely on state of the art medical technology to tell you exactly what you really need.

It’s always best to have a great product – and the Trump Network has certainly come up with a fantastic one – but you’re only just beginning to tap into the Trump Network business opportunity if you concentrate on the product. There is another, more important aspect that deserves your focus and attention.
I’m speaking, of course, about YOUR business and YOUR branding. The dirty little secret of the Trump Network MLM business, and indeed of any MLM business, is that thousands of people are out there selling the exact same products you are. They’ve all got the same power and trust that Donald Trump’s Trump Network gives you, for the same reason you have it: they’re on the Trump Network team.
So if you want to be truly successful on that team… if you want the recognition, the accolades, and the awards when the Trump Network reviews your results… you have to distinguish yourself from that team, just like you would distinguish yourself with any other business.

A lot of people will not achieve success with the Trump Network. Complaints will inevitably be made, because people frequently forget that no matter how easy it is to start an MLM business, it is still a business – and it needs all the same things that any other business needs.
The Trump Network business opportunity is a great opportunity. It’s different, it’s new, it’s state of the art and poised to take the world by storm. A lot of people will want to buy these products, and distributors can make a shocking amount of money, particularly in the early days. But just like any small business, novelty isn’t a long-term growth opportunity. Your Trump Network MLM business needs to be treated like a business.
It needs to be marketed. It needs to be advertised. It needs to grow, constantly, to maintain the momentum that leads customers to buy from you – and nobody else – over and over again.
There is a saying in small business: “If it’s not growing, it’s dying.” Too many small business owners learn that the hard way. Don’t be one of them.

So the best strategy you can have, when examining an opportunity like the Trump Network business opportunity, is to consider not only how you can sell your partner’s products… but what value you’re going to bring to the table yourself. I looked at this very carefully. My upline as it is called, found the customer support lacking credibility when it came to q&a. It seems that there may not be clients, but only marketers having to spend up to $130 a month just to keep things going with 1 autoship and a monthly communications package consisting of very much the same presentation over and over again. No sooner did I join, the prices went up before the businesss launch. This is like joining a gym membership for one year, and then they take it away to exclude a family member or something like that which was in the original agreement. Poor analogy perhaps, but I felt the same betrayal. I know the Donald is only lending his name to this program, and it is run by the same greedy people who started Ideal Health some twelve years ago. If the product is so good why hasn’t it made it into the stores, or made the grade of “as seen on tv” spots. If I am concerned about what vitamins I’m lacking, I trust my physician and not some lab who most likely just throws the sample out – and sends you the same vitamins as the Prime Essentials, under the other brand name Custom Essentials. I wonder if I had my own lab for analysis that is what they would find, and where is the FDA in all of this. I’m saying no to the Trump Network – and going to my local GNC or CVS stores just around the corner.
Just to follow up…the writer in the article states that he has never seen a vitamin that uses DNA results to build a specific vitamin regimen. Look at Quixtar….Nutrilite vitamins. They were the first mulitvitamin EVER made, and they have been doing DNA testing sent to a lab to customize vitamins for years now. The bottom line is, this is a Quixtar wanna be in the making. NOTHING original about this at all!!!! So what if Trump put his name on it!

I hear doctors get 6 hrs of nutrition in med school. NO WAY would I ask a DR about what vitamins I should take. They are trained to push meds not vitamins. For Donald Trump to put his name on the company it has to be top notch. This is not an endorsement he owns it. yes the nutrition did go up to $130 per month for 2 people but lets be honest where else can you have $130 overhead in business. Most are thousands. Not to mention the tax deductions. GNC does not create any tax deductions for me. Not to mention GNC does not pay me unless I am an employee. I bet it cost thousands for GNC franchise. Every company has its ups and downs I guess your not in for the long haul.
I was educating myself on MLM systems when Trump Network caught my attention. Decided to look it up, so, here i am.
Just like any other MLM business it has the same risks. I must admit, it does sound rather interesting. Good product, plenty of opportunity to start something new.
The name Donald Trump is also one of the important factors of this whole MLM business, well-known partner with a huge reputation. Trump network could make you well-known partner with a good reputation, if you build your bussines with clear goals and an open mind for opportunities.
Be different, distinguish yourself from the others at Trump Network team.

Many people are skeptical with all these start ups popping up all over the pace on a daily basis. I’ve been involved in pre launches of new companies in the past and usually the launch is a nightmare.The thing that I like here is that it’s not a brand new company. It’s solid,12 year old company. They already have great products and the testimonies to go with them. I also like the fact that they are headed in a direction that will start putting “green” products in our houses. They are working on a deal to bring on a skin care line. They are also working on products like cleaning supplies and other products that we use daily. New products will be added every 4 months.
I was skeptic at first also. I knew that a lot of people would be joining the Trump Network, but how many would actually stay? After getting involved, I found the products are actually great products. The customized nutrition with the Metabolic test is something that I can really believe in. Nutrition is not one size fits all.
The Trump Network has plans to add over 300 more products to the arsenal. Most of them will be be “green” products. They will also have a test that you can take, in the comfort of your home that will tell you which of the products that you are currently using are actually causing harm to your body. Once you find out which products are doing harm to you and your loved ones, you can swap them out with the new, better for you products.
My conclusion for now is that the Trump name will bring people in. The products and comp plan will keep them there. Best of luck to you all.

I first got involved in Ideal Health before it became the Trump Network in May 2008 when I was still a full-time Personal Fitness Trainer because i wanted to offer my clients cutting-edge nutrition. I must say that having a Plan B for income and opting out of the recession were both appealing. However what I did not forsee was the gift of health that I was giving to my family. How is this any different than Amway? Sounds like the same sort of broad spectrum of products that Amway has sold for many, many years. I am still extremely leery of this sort of business. I need money, just like the next guy, but where do I go to read the proven 12-year business record of this company? Member of Dunn & Bradstreet, BBB, etc.? I need more resources. It just seems like a very odd business for the Donald to get into — one that most people shy away from because of its structure . . .

I joined The Trump Network about 6 weeks ago, never before been in any MLM, and I have had a great time so far. I’m meeting lots of people that are interested in changing there life.The Trump Network can do that, It is not a get rich thing, you have to work at it, but it is a fun thing to be in. As I browse through your responses on this blog, I find it amazing how people are not utilizing the internet properly to build their business. I want to join a team with excellent support and guidence. I have never done network marketing, but am a beast when it comes to meeting people and selling. I understand you want to get on the best team but that does not always guarantee that you will be successfull. You have to work in this business and keep a positive attitude all the time. With webinars and core groups starting all over the United States you will have training opportunities several times a week in your area. This is a great business and I believe in personally supporting my downline. You will find that within a month the need to call me or my upline will go way down. I have upline in Denver and Bolder Colorado that is willing to help me and anybody in my downline. My upline is probably one of the best in the country. I can connect you with him with a phone call or 3-way call. We all work together in this company even if we are not a part of each others downline.

The best team is the one that will be there when you need them. With the age of the internet you no longer need to live in the same area as your upline. I live in New Orleans and my upline is in Denver. I have downline in Tampa and Atlanta along with some here in New Orleans.
