Of course, like any other MLM company, the company welcomes people in as “part of the Global Verge Team”, when they join. Be advised, if you are a team member, you will be charged $99.95, $39.95, or $14.95 a month. Paying a higher amount gets you access to more products to sell. So the company is making money when you sell their products, when you sign up more people as re-sellers, and again every month while you pay them for the privilege of selling their stuff.
Most people get involved with an MLM business because they want to make more money. They want to supplement their regular wages, or they want to be able to run their own business, and network marketing gives them the business platform to sell from.
There are plenty of other ways to make money on the internet. If you want to be an affiliate marketer, you can get paid for every product or service someone buys through your website. You can learn how to drive traffic to your own website, and build up a list of interested buyers that you can market to again and again.
MLM companies don’t do a great job of teaching members how to be marketers. They limit the knowledge they share to those skills that make their products sell. In the real world, there are ways to make even more money than the companies will teach, because they are only interested in teaching the techniques that sell their own products.
